The Sports Coordination is a branch of the Extension Headship at the Caribbean Maritime University and its goal is to empower the sports practice among the members of the college community and the general public in the regional state, in order to encourage the integration and personal development. The purpose is to promote intra and inter-institutional activities related to College High Performance Sports events.
The combination of High Performance Sports (competition level) with the University is to favour integration and identification among the community members and the increasing in their quality of life.
High Performance Sports
This programme constitutes and develops Student and Regional Sports Teams representing the University and the regional state inside and outside the country. This generates systems of physical, technical, tactical, and theoretical training in conjunction with a personal development programme. All the earlier elements become into the main driving force in the formation of healthy-body-healthy-mind-citizens to serve our country.
